Starting September 19, Lakeside Dental and Wellness is hosting a 10-week dental assisting program. Every Saturday, dental assisting students will have the opportunity to receive real clinical training in a real dental office. The program offers a fast, flexible path to a dental assisting career in Augusta. Once you complete the course, you’ll meet all the qualifications needed to start working as a dental assistant right away.

Partnering with Accelerated Academy
Accelerated Academy’s program is designed to provide a faster, career-focused path into dental assisting. Instead of spending years in school before entering the workforce, students complete the program in just 10 weeks.
The hybrid format combines self-paced online lectures with in-office clinical training, including four-hour hands-on sessions. Classes are limited to a maximum of 12 students, helping provide a more personalized learning environment.
Students receive training and support that includes:
- Dental Assisting Certificate of Completion
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Dental Radiography Certificate of Completion
The course is designed to help students build both the clinical skills and career-readiness needed to pursue opportunities in dental assisting.
Tuition and Financing
We offer affordable tuition and flexible financing. If you pay in full, you’ll receive a $300 discount. You can enroll until September 18, when classes start.

With payment plan: $3,799
Payment Methods
- Option 1 – Pay your full tuition at registration (Save $300 )
- Option 2 – Register with a $200 deposit, which is applied toward your tuition. The remaining balance is divided into weekly or biweekly payments on the schedule you choose. A $300 payment plan fee will be added to your total tuition.
